Medication Assistance Program
turning "can't afford" into "can begin"
Financial toxicity is the most common reason treatment stops. PAP uses three instruments — donation, co-pay support and installment payment — to lower the financial threshold for starting and continuing therapy, with MediPASS carrying eligibility, dispensing and audit.
Three support instruments
Donation program
Free medicine issued by therapy stage (e.g. buy X get Y), typical for long courses of high-cost self-pay medicines. Two-stage pack QR redemption allows one use per pack.
Co-payment support
Tiered subsidy of part of the drug cost by means test or therapy stage, bringing the patient's out-of-pocket into an affordable range. Amounts are adjudicated automatically by the rule engine.
Installment payment
Spread a large one-off drug cost into monthly payments, with MediPASS binding the plan, settling and reconciling. The total doesn't change — the cash flow does.
